By car, take the Brenner motorway A22 to the Brixen exit. There the SS12 leads you in the direction of Pustertal for a good 30 kilometres to Bruneck. There you turn off in the direction of Ahrntal, and after another 15 kilometres you will reach Sand in Taufers. Please remember to bring winter equipment during the winter months.

If you want to travel by train, the railway station Franzensfeste/Fortezza is your destination. International long-distance trains also stop here. From Franzenfeste, the Pustertaler train leaves every hour and takes you to Bruneck. There you can change to the bus to Sand in Taufers or take a taxi.
